Course Registration Instructions

This step requires you to do nothing:

  • You do not need to meet with your advisor for the college to pre-register you in these courses.
  • You do not need to be cleared for registration to be pre-registered.
  • Pre-registration does not replace meeting with your advisor for courses outside of your major requirements.

The college has reviewed the Fall 2026 course offerings. To help students secure the courses required for their majors, the Registrar’s Office is working with academic leadership to pre-register each student who has a declared major in the courses needed for their program.

Undeclared Students

  • If you are ready to declare your major, please do so by Wednesday, April 15.
    Declare your major here.
  • If you are not ready to declare your major, that is okay. You may register for all of your courses during the second step of registration after meeting with your advisor.

Viewing Your Schedule

Students will be able to see their schedules as they are populated. Please do not worry if your schedule does not appear immediately or if it changes during step one.

It will take several days for students to be registered by major, and the system will remain closed to student registration until all programs have been pre-registered by the administration.

This step requires you to:

  • Meet with your advisor.
  • Receive clearance for registration.
  • Register for courses outside your major requirements.

The college will send a campus-wide notification when students may begin meeting with advisors for registration clearance and when student registration officially opens.

Your advisor has been informed that you will reach out after the college sends this notification. If your advisor contacts you earlier, please follow their guidance.

Important Details

  • During Step Two, students may be cleared to register for both Summer 2026 and Fall 2026.
  • Pre-registration does not automatically clear you for registration.
  • If you were pre-registered for courses you absolutely cannot take, discuss schedule changes with your dean or department chair.
  • If you drop major-required courses that were selected for you, the college cannot guarantee timely graduation.
  • You will see a registration block from the Registrar’s Office in MyWagner until your academic advisor clears you.

Priority Registration

Priority registration will be assigned by class standing:

  • Seniors
  • Juniors
  • Sophomores
  • First-year students

Student Registration Responsibilities

Students will register themselves for the following courses during their Registrar-assigned registration block:

  • Knowledge Area courses
  • General Education courses
  • Minor courses
  • Elective courses

Accommodations

The college believes there will be sufficient space for all students who require accommodations. If this does not occur, please discuss your needs with your advisor.

This step requires you to:

  • Drop Knowledge Area courses and electives.
  • Add open courses.
  • Work with your academic advisor to finalize your schedule.

Important Notes

  • Do not drop courses required for your major without first consulting your advisor and receiving permission from your dean or department chair.
  • If you drop courses for which you were pre-registered, the college cannot guarantee timely graduation.
  • Students will work with their academic advisor to resolve any schedule conflicts.
  • Students should be enrolled in either 4 or 5 units for Fall 2026.

Financial Aid & Degree Progress

If you have questions about financial aid or degree progression, please meet with the Financial Aid Office.

Drop/Add Access

Students will not be permitted to drop or add courses until this step begins.

The college will notify students when the drop/add period is officially open.
