        Christopher DeFilippi '14
"Interning at the Clinton Foundation gave me the chance to take the leadership skills and the communication skills I've learned at Wagner and apply them to nonprofit work."
        A message from Christopher
        Christopher DeFilippi '14

Through Wagner, I got the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work for a former president, as an intern in the scheduling department of the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation. I’ve also been working with a new women’s leadership organization, Take the Lead. Through my Wagner courses and also being abroad, I found my passion for making a difference through the nonprofit sector.

"I chose Wagner College’s Executive MBA program hands-down compared to other, mainstream EMBA programs. I recognized that the Wagner EMBA had the best schedule, timing, scope of study, and rich content relevant to today’s challenges."

"My learning community really shaped the way I think about civic engagement issues of social justice, and it pushed me toward the trajectory of public interest law."

        Julia Zenker '14

I loved Spanish, so as a first-year student, I took the Learning Community that combined philosophy and Spanish. We worked in the Spanish-speaking community, and I wrote a paper about our moral obligations to learners. That really shaped the way I think about civic engagement issues of social justice, and it pushed me toward the trajectory of public interest law.
