Colleagues,
Wagner College has a long tradition of community and civic engagement, of which we are all rightly proud. Advancing this vital work is critical to our growth and success as a true anchor institution on Staten Island — indeed, in New York City.
I am asking all faculty and staff to help us in compiling information about the external partnerships or arrangements in which they are involved. Examples might include work with a local public school or hospital, funded grants from an external organization, community service projects by a program’s students, or even leadership positions in a borough, municipal or community organization.
Please use the link below to share information. Nothing is too insignificant to let us know about, so please be as comprehensive as possible:

There are three reasons behind this request:
- We want to explore synergies or deeper participation in projects that may at present be limited to a department or division but have great potential for expansion.
- We want to ensure the College’s resources are being used in ways that ensure the greatest possibility of student success and institutional advancement
- As we rebuild our on-campus communications and marketing efforts, we want to be able to more robustly amplify the great work we are doing as we talk to media, to prospective students and to potential philanthropic partners.
I appreciate in advance your help with creating this list, the results of which we will share with the campus community. Moving forward, college resources will not be expended on programs and activities that are not on this list, which I assume will be holistic.
Thank you for everything you do, every day, for our students and for Wagner College,
Jeff
