Bonner Leaders Program Application

The Bonner Leaders Program is a unique opportunity for students dedicated to community engagement and leadership development.

Applicants will need to complete the following three steps:

Verify your eligibility for Federal College Work-Study by checking your financial aid account or contacting the Financial Aid Office at Wagner College
Submit this application
Request an interview (submit a request to jose.reyes@wagner.edu).

Once accepted, you will be expected to make community engagement and leadership development a top priority. This includes maintaining good academic standing while performing up to 150 hours of civic engagement work throughout the academic semester. Typically, you will be serving 8-10 hours per week in paid community-based internships. You will also participate in a weekly 2-hour seminar focused on academic reflection and skill development, as well as attend scheduled events, individual meetings, and advising sessions.
