Wagner College P.A. Program Student Fundraiser
Because of people like you, lives will be changed and the Wagner College Physician Assistant program will continue to create positive change around the world. With your help, our students were able to raise a total of $3,115 from 25 different people in only FIVE days. This tremendous accomplishment will help to fund the purchase of medical supplies necessary to future mission trips, such as antibiotics, vitamins, toothbrushes, and reading glasses. Thank you for your support!
Widely recognized as a small, liberal arts institution that offers big opportunities, Wagner College prides itself on student efforts made within the campus community, and beyond. As an institution that values immersive learning opportunities that promote positive change, we want to take this opportunity to support the substantial efforts that are being made, each and every day, through the Physician’s Assistant program at Wagner.
The mission of the Wagner College P.A. program is to prepare professional academic clinicians committed to quality health care for all individuals. The P.A. major consists of a two-year pre-P.A. curriculum focusing on prerequisites to entry into P.A. followed by the three professional years of the P.A. program. Successful completion of the P.A. program leads to the BS/MS in Advanced P.A. Studies and eligibility to take the national certifying examination leading to the title of Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). During the first two years at Wagner College, students take courses in the sciences, that comprise preparation for the P.A. program, as well as the general education course requirements needed to proceed to the P.A. program.
