Student Spotlights

"It's my 5th year at Wagner and I am currently getting my Masters in Accounting. Wagner College has given my the opportunity to further my education and to continue to compete athletically. I have competed in the Olympics twice and I am on the College Swim Team. I am also a member of the Women's Professional Network which helps me to develop professionally and to connect to alumni. Wagner has helped me overcome many obstacles and I would not be where I am today without the support of the staff, alumni, and donors."

"My experience at Wagner has given me so much to be grateful for. Not only have I been able to make some forever friends and find a community that accepts me for who I am, but I am able to use my voice on-campus to initiate change and create opportunities for students to feel more at home at Wagner! Every student should feel at home here and through my work, I hope to continue to make that a reality. Thank you to those who choose to give back to Wagner who help create opportunities for students!"

“What makes Wagner special is the people and the community connected to it. I'm originally from the Midwest, which is very different from New York and the East Coast, so one of my biggest fears about coming to college was that I wouldn't be able to "fit in" or make lasting relationships out here. However, I quickly found that I had nothing to worry about, and everything I have achieved since being at Wagner is thanks to the support I've gotten from the Wagner community. The friends I've made here at Wagner are some of the most important people in my life, and they inspire me every day to do good in the world and be the best version of myself that I can be.”

“I feel so grateful to be able to call Wagner my home. Throughout my time at Wagner I have experienced amazing opportunities, am receiving a phenomenal education, and, because of the small class sizes, have made friendships with my peers and the staff that I know will last a lifetime. Every person that I have met at Wagner has gone out of their way to help me succeed and achieve my goals. I truly wouldn’t be the person I am today without the Wagner Community. Thank you so much to all the alumni and donors that are so generous in providing an exceptional education to Wagner students.”

“I am so grateful for the education I have received at Wagner College. I’m a senior International Relations major from Hungary. Through Wagner I was able to obtain an internship at the United Nations which was an amazing experience. In addition to my studies, I’m on Wagner’s water polo team. The opportunity to come to the United States to study has been a once in a lifetime experience that has changed my life. The generosity of Wagner’s donors has made a difference in my life and the lives of students like me.”
