Each year the Chai Society recognizes individuals from the community who have enhanced and promoted Jewish life on campus and within the broader community. We are delighted to have the opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of those that embody the mission of the Chai Society and use the event to serve as a true mitzvah opportunity. This year we will honor:
Joel Cohen ‘50 - Monroe J. Klein ‘66 Humanitarian Award
Arthur Spielman - Courage Award
Efrat LaMandre, FNP-C - Spirit of Change Award
Dr. Ginny Mantello - Allan Weissglass Civic Leadership Award
Rev. Dr. Terry Troia - Allan Weissglass Civic Leadership Award
Bethany Friedman - Next Generation Award

About the Wagner Guild
The Guild is Wagner’s oldest organization and was formed by faculty wives 103 years ago to help provide support for the divinity students who were away from home pursuing their education. Today, the Guild’s mission remains in many ways the same as it was over 100 years ago, with its members committed to assisting students in need.
