Student Alumni Association Meeting

March 26 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Wagner Union Faculty Dining Room

The Student Alumni Association (SAA) will have bi-weekly meetings to discuss the planning and organizing of events for the fall and spring semester. The purpose of the SAA is to build spirit and pride, connect current students with alumni, educate about and encourage student philanthropy, and enhance the student experience by providing ways to strengthen service and lifelong loyalty to Wagner. Students interested in attending meetings will go through regular cafeteria line and meet at tables reserved for SAA in the FDR.

Career Conversations @ The University Club

March 27 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

We want to connect alumni and parents with today’s Wagner students for conversations about all things related to careers — pursuing an education, finding the right path, and networking. Alumni and parents are invited to share wisdom, advice, and experiences with the students. Whatever your career field may be, please volunteer your time to speak with our students of all majors and grades. Location: The University Club – 1 W 54th St, New York, NY 10019 in College Hall

Schedule:
6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. - Private alumni and parent networking reception in College Hall (Main Fl.)
7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. - Career Conversations

Dress Code: Men: Dress shirts, jackets and tie required. Women: Similar standards, such as tailored clothing that otherwise conforms to this rule including suits, dresses,and skirts or tailors trousers with dress shirts, blouses or sweaters. Jeans, shorts, capris, sneakers, flip flops and other such casual sportswear are not considered appropriate attire.

Cell Phone Usage: Cellular phones and personal digital assistants must remain on silent and may not be used in the public area of the Clubhouse.

Wagner Guild Luncheon

The Wagner College Guild was founded in 1918 to assist and support Wagner students, who at that time were Lutheran seminarians. Women from the Lutheran synods of Staten Island, Brooklyn, New Jersey and Long Island would provide meals, sew buttons and offer other services to the students.

Today, the Guild has over 200 members and supports the college with fundraising efforts and scholarships.

The next meeting will be April 10 at noon in the Faculty Dining Room.

“Thursday Night Live” Alumni Panel

Join us for a new monthly informal panel discussion with Wagner alumni from various backgrounds sharing their experience and advice on successfully navigating life after Wagner. Come prepared with your questions as there will be plenty of time for Q&A!

If you are unable to make it, you can still complete your graduation requirements during regular office hours.
