Keri and I have Wagner to thank for bringing us together. She played on the women’s golf team and I played on the men’s golf team. We give back to Wagner because of the incredible experiences we had there. Without Wagner we would have never met and never had the opportunity to have the lives and careers that we have today. Keri graduated with her degree in nursing and immediately joined the Navy. She began her career in the military working at Naval Station Portsmouth, Virginia and then got stationed at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida, where we now live, working her true calling as a labor and delivery nurse. She just recently completed her commitment to the Navy as a lieutenant after six years of service and has started working at a local hospital doing the same. I got my master’s degree in accounting at Wagner and am a CPA working at KPMG as an audit manager.
We both absolutely love what we do; without the education and experiences we had at Wagner, we would not be where we are today, and we are truly thankful for that. We even have two little Seahawks - Ryan, 2 and Nicole, 1 - who wouldn’t exist if not for Wagner bringing us together. We hope that our giving, which is matched by KPMG, can help give others following in our footsteps a great experience and education like ours!
