Alumnus to become newest member of the NYC Department of Investigation

img_1316_6Nicholas Gibaldi, '14, has accepted a position as Confidential Investigator for the NYC DIO. Mr. Gibaldi graduated with a BS in anthropology. While a Wagner student he served as the president of the Pi chapter of Lambda Alpha, the Anthropology National Honor Society and as captain of the men's lacrosse team. During the summers of 2012 and 2014 he traveled with Dr. Celeste Gagnon to Peru to study human skeletal remains excavated from archaeological sites. This work became the basis of his senior thesis investigating the role of interpersonal violence in prehistoric Peruvian society. After graduation he earned a MSc in Forensic Archaeology and Crime Scene Investigation from the University of Bradford, England.
