Welcome, new professors!

Philip Cartelli —Department of Art, Art History and Film — Dr. Philip Cartelli is an award-winning filmmaker and moving-image artist working primarily in documentary and experimental genres, with additional experience in feature-length narrative. Dr. Cartelli earned both his master’s and Ph.D. from Harvard University, holding a dual doctorate in media anthropology and sociology.


Nelson Kim — Department of Art, Art History and Film — Prior to joining Wagner College, Professor Nelson Kim was an adjunct professor at Fordham University in the Communication and Media Studies Department. Professor Kim double majored in English and film at the University of California at Berkeley, and he earned his MFA in film from Columbia University.


Lindsay Sabatino — English Department & Writing Center — Dr. Lindsay Sabatino earned her Ph.D. in English composition and teaching English to speakers of other languages from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her dissertation subject was, “Interactions on the Online Writing Center: Students’ Perspectives.” Prior to joining the Wagner College faculty, Dr. Sabatino worked as a director at the Digital ACT Studio at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.


Elizabeth A. Suter — Department of Biological Sciences — Dr. Elizabeth Suter earned both her Ph.D. and M.S. in marine and atmospheric sciences from the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences at Stony Brook University. Dr. Suter’s current research focus is the development of tools for exploration of carbon flow through the planktonic viral shunt.
