B.S. Health Sciences

The Health Sciences major offers students a flexible and interdisciplinary approach to learning about the health sciences and the healthcare system. Students are exposed to courses in biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, nursing and elective courses.

Elective courses will allow students to explore aspects of health care they find of greatest interest. The major will serve as a path into post graduate careers in physical therapy, occupational therapy, genetic counseling, speech therapy, and other health-related careers.

In addition to this, students will take a one-year clinical experience as part of their senior learning community that will prepare them for their desired career after graduation.
