Welcome, new faculty!
Wagner College welcomes five new full-time faculty members for the 2016-17 academic year — three of whom have been teaching as adjunct professors at Wagner for several years!
Josephine Marcantonio is a visiting assistant professor in the Evelyn L. Spiro School of Nursing. She earned her masters of science in nursing degree from Wagner College and has served as an adjunct professor here for over 7 years. As a pediatric clinical nurse specialist, she is an experienced patient care expert. In 2010, she won a National Nurse of the Year Award for Mentoring, given by Nursing Spectrum magazine.
Tinamarie Petrizzo-Hughes is a visiting assistant professor in the Evelyn L. Spiro School of Nursing. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s nursing degrees from Wagner College. Petrizzo-Hughes is a leader and mentor in the intensive and coronary care settings and has conducted research on current trends in improving the care of patients.
Anthony Esposito is a visiting assistant professor in the Biology Department. He earned his Ph.D. in molecular biosciences in the graduate program in molecular genetics, microbiology and immunology at the UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University. As a postdoctoral fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, he conducted research on the cell-to-cell transfer of HIV.
Edward Strafaci is a visiting assistant professor in the Business Department. He earned his MBA degree in finance from St. John’s University. He has over three decades of experience in the financial sector in asset management roles and is an expert on convertible security, merger and options arbitrage. He has previously taught at New Jersey City University and Brookdale Community College.
Linda Tribuzio is a visiting assistant professor in the Education Department. She earned her doctorate from Fordham University in administration, policy and urban education. She has extensive experience working with underserved groups and those with learning disabilities. As a special education teacher, Tribuzio was certified to teach reading and has taught graduate level literacy courses.
