The degree of Master of Business Administration will be granted upon completion of 45 credits of graduate course work, which include a 18 credits initial tier (I), a 15 credits major tier (II), a 9 credits final/capstone tier (III), and a 3 credits elective course*.
Areas of Major:
Classes usually meet for two hours once a week, between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., during weekdays (Monday through Thursday). Selected courses are also offered on Saturdays, which allows students to fulfill the course requirements by attending five concentrated Saturday class meetings (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.). The combination of the evening and Saturday classes allows students to better fit their academic schedule with their work obligations.
Second MBA Degree Option
The second MBA Degree option will be conferred upon the completion of an additional Tier II (Major Tier) requirement. Students completing 45 credits toward their MBA in a specific major may elect, upon submission and approval of a second MBA degree request, to complete an additional 15 credits, or 5 courses, in a second major field.
* Students who have entered the Traditional MBA Program after Fall 2010 are bound by the following graduation requirements: 18 credits Initial Tier (I), 15 credits Major Tier (II), 9 credits Final/Capstone Tier (III), and 3 credits of elective courses.
