Delta Mu Delta is a symbol of a student’s readiness to measure up to the responsibilities of the future. It is recognized and even sought by employer representatives who visit campuses to recruit graduates for careers in business, education, industry, and government.

Membership in Delta Mu Delta fulfills one of the requirements for entrance at the GS-7 level (rather than GS-5) in numerous professional and technical occupations in the federal service. Learn more here.

CPA Accounting Dinner

On Thursday night, November 9, 2017, The Accounting Society had their annual dinner at the Staten Catering Hall located at 697 Forest Avenue. Also in attendance were students from The College of Staten Island and St Johns University. The evening was sponsored by the New York State Society of CPAs. It was an informative evening which in addition to dinner, several presentations were made by Ernst and Young, The Federal Bureau of Investigation, recent graduates and local CPA practitioners. It was an evening enjoyed by all.

The Finance Club

Officers:

Omar Alhagiko (President) – Omar is a senior that double majors in Finance and Economics and minors in Math. He is also a member of the Wagner Men’s Lacrosse team and Class of 2019. He is a member of the SELECTS program.

Pascalle Tego (Vice President) – Pascalle is an Economics major and Class of 2019.  She is a member of the Women’s Golf Team and a member of the SELECTS program.

Graham Schmelzer (Treasurer) – Graham is studying Finance & Economics and expected to graduate in the Class of 2020. He is an active member of the Men’s Water Polo team and SELECT program.

Connor Davis (VP of Communications) – Connor is a senior at Wagner College majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics. He is currently a member of the Wagner Men’s Lacrosse team. Connor is one of the founder’s of the annual investment challenge at Wagner College and will be in charge of it again this year.

Grant Ludgar (SGA Representative) –  Grant is a senior that is majoring in Finance. He is a member of the Wagner SELECTS program.

The Management and Marketing Club

Officers:

Ilya Kneppelhout (President) – Ilya is a senior majoring in Management and minoring in Journalism. He is also the Captain of Wagner’s Men’s Tennis team. He is also a member of the SELECTS program.

Sarthak Panda (Vice President) – Sarthak is a junior marketing major. With a wide array of interests and experience, he hopes to contribute to the enterprise of healthcare while also offering sustainable solutions for natural resources.

Fabia Maramotti (VP of Campus Events) – Fabia is getting her MBA in Management. She is also the Captain of Wagner’s Women’s Triathlon team and she enjoys working with data and numbers.

Andrew Mulholland (VP of Business Competitions) – Andrew is a senior marketing major. He is also on the Men’s Lacrosse team and is excited to start a career in the marketing industry.
