Delta Mu Delta is a symbol of a student’s readiness to measure up to the responsibilities of the future. It is recognized and even sought by employer representatives who visit campuses to recruit graduates for careers in business, education, industry, and government.

Membership in Delta Mu Delta fulfills one of the requirements for entrance at the GS-7 level (rather than GS-5) in numerous professional and technical occupations in the federal service. Learn more here.

CPA Accounting Dinner

On Thursday night, November 9, 2017, The Accounting Society had their annual dinner at the Staten Catering Hall located at 697 Forest Avenue. Also in attendance were students from The College of Staten Island and St Johns University. The evening was sponsored by the New York State Society of CPAs. It was an informative evening which in addition to dinner, several presentations were made by Ernst and Young, The Federal Bureau of Investigation, recent graduates and local CPA practitioners. It was an evening enjoyed by all.

The Finance Club

Officers:

Milos Popovic (President) – Milos is a senior that majors in Finance and minors in mathematics.  He is also a member of the Wagner Men’s Ice Hockey team and Class of 2020. He is a member of the SELECTS program.

Ashley Starr (Vice President) – Ashley Starr is a Finance major with minors in Spanish and Economics. She is a part of the Class of 2020.  She is a member of Delta Mu Delta and a member of the SELECTS program.

Jonathan Besselink (Treasurer) – Jonathan is studying Finance & Mathematics and expected to graduate in the Class of 2020. He is an active member of the Men’s Track and Field team and SELECT program.

Savannah Henshaw (VP of Communications) – Savannah is a Junior at Wagner College and she is a member of the Wagner SELECTS program.

Ian Brown (SGA Representative) –  Ian is a senior that is majoring in Accounting. He is a December 2019 graduate. He is a member of the Wagner SELECTS program.

Siddharth Anand (Chief of Staff) – Siddharth is a Senior that is majoring in Finance. He is a member of the Wagner NCAA D1 Men’s Tennis team. He is also a member of the Wagner SELECTS program.

The Management and Marketing Club

Officers:

Sarthak Panda (President) — Sarthak Panda is a junior marketing major. With a wide array of interests and experience, he hopes to contribute to the enterprise of healthcare while also offering sustainable solutions for natural resources and commodities.

Madison Starr (VP of Management) — Madison Starr is a sophomore majoring in management and minoring in economics. She is on the Wagner Women’s Soccer team and is a member of the SAAC E-Board. She is excited to pursue a career in the management industry!

David Pina (VP of Marketing) — David Henry Pina is a freshman majoring in marketing with a minor in economics. He is extremely excited to contribute to this organization.

Moses Ramos (VP of Logistics) — Moses Ramos is a sophomore majoring in business administration with a concentration in Management and a minor in Philosophy. He is a Bonner Leader, Community Leader, President of Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and a member of the Black Student Union and Alma. He is excited to start a contribute to this organization.
