The Center for Academic and Career Engagement (CACE) serves Wagner students as the primary locus of support and advisement services. CACE facilitates students’ transition into Wagner, the selection of their majors, the organization of their individual “Wagner Plans,” and the development of their skills and experiences in pursuit of their life and career goals.
Our integrated services, available to all students, include:
- Career Development - Career planning, professional documentation, internships, interview preparation, job listings, and graduate school
- Academic Advisement - Student and Faculty Advisor support for major selection and declaration of major, Major Checklists, registration, withdrawal/leave of absence and advisement support, Early Alert forms for faculty.
- Academic Support - Tutoring for Finals Week, Drop In Hours and Test Reviews, Content-specific Peer Tutoring, Writing Intensive Tutoring (WIT), the Writing Center, Test Reviews, and Student Success Seminars. Peer Tutors needed for Fall 2016. Apply online!
- Disability Services - Specialized academic advisement, counseling, and academic support
The Center for Academic and Career Engagement (CACE) is located in the Union Building, 3rd Floor, right next to the Hawk’s Nest. We are open Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm, or later by appointment.
