Mental Health Workshop: The Therapeutic Power of Music

Join us on Tuesday, September 24th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for a mental health workshop sponsored by the Center for Health & Wellness!

Licensed Mental Health Counselor and DJ, Maria Caras, will teach you about how music can help your mental health. You will learn:

*The psychological and physical impact of music on the brain
*Ways to utilize music as part of your therapeutic toolkit
*The effect of music therapy on anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss

…and more!

You will also have the opportunity to participate in group exercises, discussions and a question-and-answer session!

Resume Writing Workshop

Come & learn:

  • How to create a winning resume!
  • How to utilize the Hiration resume tool
  • Create a strong positioning statement
  • Identify essential soft/hard skills

Vaccine Clinic

September 26 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Wagner will be offering on-campus Flu & Covid-19 Vaccinations. Vaccinations will be administered by Super Health Pharmacy in the Spiro Sports Center Ticketing Lobby.

You must have your insurance card and a photo ID, if available. There will be a $35.00 out-of-pocket cost for the vaccine if your insurance denies coverage.

It’s Real: College Students and Mental Health

The Center for Health & Wellness has partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to bring you an interactive presentation about the mental health struggles of college students.

The transition to college often presents emotional challenges. Learn how to balance your life from other students who have been there, learn how to spot and help friends who may be struggling, and have an honest conversation about mental health and well-being. This event will feature a short film and live discussion.
