Dear Graduate Candidate:

I hope you are feeling the excitement of your final semester at Wagner College. Commencement will be the culmination of years of scholarly work and achievement at Wagner. This year, Graduation Day is scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2014. We assume that you will have completed all requirements for graduation and will be a degree candidate.

By tradition, Graduation involves two major festivities. The first is the Baccalaureate Service, which is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2014 under the tent on the Sutter Oval. Please line up for Baccalaureate at 3:30 p.m. inside the Spiro Sports Center. Students do not wear caps and gowns for this ceremony; but they should dress in business attire.

The second is the Commencement Ceremony, which is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014 on the Sutter Oval in front of Main Hall. Please line up for Commencement at 9:30 a.m. inside the Spiro Sports Center. Proper academic attire is required for Graduation Day and may be picked up at the Wagner College Bookstore. Attached is some additional information about your academic attire for Commencement.

You may pick up your cap and gown, Commencement Packet containing instructions, announcements, and other items in the bookstore during normal hours of operation, between Monday, April 7, 2013 and Wednesday, May 21, 2014.

Let me be among the first to congratulate you on your successes and accomplishments in your academic career at Wagner College. I encourage you to stay focused on your goal toward successful graduation during these last months. You have much to look forward to as you continue your journey toward Commencement and future success.

Sincerely,
