Wagner’s graduate programs in education are designed for the working professional, with many program requirements being met through evening and technology-assisted learning environments. Teacher candidates work with faculty advisors to construct appropriate learning experiences for their field requirements.
Students who complete Wagner's elementary, adolescent, and early childhood graduate programs qualify for approval for initial and professional licensure in both general and special education. Early career educators seeking continued professional development and support can enroll in NEW--New Educators at Wagner--to meet professional development requirements from the state. The Teaching Literacy program provides advanced certification for practicing educators, and Higher Education & Learning Organizations Leadership offers preparation for individuals seeking to work in higher education as well as non-profit fields.
