What is the hardest thing about being in season and in school?
“missing class because missing notes and how the professor give their lectures with examples that you may not get from a friends notes”
How have you managed to succeed in school whilst being in season?
“being communicative with professors ahead of time”
What is one thing you would advise freshman student-athletes coming in to Wagner?
“staying ahead of your work and being clear about your professors expectations”

What is the hardest thing about being in season and in school?
“Not having motivation for school work”
How have you managed to succeed in school whilst being in season?
“Having set time slots for work during the week and weekends- its all in the planning”
What is one thing you would advise freshman student-athletes coming in to Wagner?
“Take a heavy load of classes out of season, if your major allows for it”

“Doing the homework and time management”

“Get the work done early and stay on top of your schedule”

“Start off strong to set yourself up for the harder years to come”

“Definitely finding time to sleep can be a challenge”
How have you managed to succeed in school whilst being in season?
“Ask your professors if you can record lectures—it can help when studying on the road”
What is one thing you would advise freshman student-athletes coming in to Wagner?
“Allocate your time. Come up with a schedule that you can follow everyday so that you get into a new routine.”

What is the hardest thing about being in season and in school?
“Having the energy to do schoolwork and extracurriculars— find time for a pre-sleep nap
How have you managed to succeed in school whilst being in season?
“Take good notes when you are in class and be efficient at studying. Mine is rewriting my notes.”
What is one thing you would advise freshman student-athletes coming in to Wagner?
“Figure out how to manage your free time. Just because you want to go out and have fun, doesn’t mean you should go out.”
Whether it’s good study habits, good note taking or a combination of both, finding what works for you can make being in season and in school more manageable.
