Located on Staten Island in New York City, Wagner College is a residential liberal arts college, offering undergraduate and graduate programs, and featuring experiential learning and strong professional programs. Job Summary:Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Planning and Enrollment, the Director will help lead the development and implementation of a strategic recruitment plan, will directly supervise the Office of Financial Aid including the leveraging strategy, and oversee all enrollment analytics and operations.  The Director will also lead Graduate Admissions, and play a central role in developing and implementing retention strategies.

We seek an energetic leader with a demonstrated record of enrollment success, preferably at a residential four year college. He or she will be well versed in all the day to day operations of admissions and financial aid. The successful candidate will be a strong mentor of staff and a hands-on leader who possesses excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to articulate the unique mission and vision of the Wagner Plan to a broad range of constituents is essential.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be experienced in developing and leading new recruitment/admissions strategies
  • Be well versed in Financial Aid leveraging
  • Have the ability to facilitate, develop and implement communication strategies in coordination with the Office of Communications and Marketing
  • Possess strong skills and experience in enrollment analytics
  • Be experienced in predictive modeling as it relates to both lead generation and yield
  • Have experience with recruiting transfer and graduate students

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Qualifications: A Master's degree and eight to ten years of experience with increasing responsibility within a college or university admissions office is required. Knowledge of enrollment-related technology and familiarity with an integrated computer system is expected, knowledge of Slate a plus.
