Assistant Professor, Psychiatric Mental Health, Tenure Track

The School of Nursing at Wagner College invites applications for a tenure track nursing faculty position at the Assistant Professor level beginning fall 2022. Responsibilities will include effective classroom and clinical instruction, student recruitment and advising. Candidates will have demonstrated evidence of research/creative/professional activities or the potential to design and complete research/creative/professional activity, including curriculum development and program evaluation. The position also includes service to the institution through department and College committees, participation in College and departmental programs and activities and professional and community service. A current New York nursing licensure is essential.
Candidates must have (or near completion of) a terminal degree, preferable Ph.D. with strong consideration to a DNP. The ideal candidate must have a background in curriculum and teaching and current clinical expertise in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. Experience in Nursing Simulation is helpful. In addition the candidate will serve as an advocate for all students.
