Tavares Ireland is a Certified Public Accountant with close to 10 years of experience as accounting, finance, and operations professional. Throughout his career, Tavares has been a key leader in company-wide efforts in financial reporting, corporate strategy and operations, pricing and proposals, operating budgets, government reporting, U.S. and statutory audits, and supporting executive boards.

Tavares is currently the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for a mid-sized engineering firm in South Florida. As a Manager of FP&A, he’s adept at analytical and innovative thinking with a keen ability to lead teams with trust, care, and principle. Additionally, Tavares is currently a member of the Diversity Council and has served on the Supervisor Training committee for the firm. His prior work experience includes time at a Big Four accounting firm, serving multifaceted roles in operations, pricing, finance, and billing. Before getting his start in accounting, Tavares completed a bachelor’s in Business Administration and Management and a dual MBA in Management and Finance from Wagner College.

In his free time, Tavares enjoys spending time with his family and friends, entrepreneurship, traveling the world, fitness, art, investing, and expanding his knowledge on a wide variety of topics in pursuit of life-long learning (e.g., mindfulness, spirituality, fitness, socioeconomics, digital assets, all branches of science and world history).
