American Sign Language

American Sign Language (ASL) is the third most widely used language in the United States. It is a visual-gestural-kinesthetic method of communication used by members of the deaf community. In this beginner class students will learn basic vocabulary and grammar of ASL and will begin to develop the necessary communication skills to interact with people who are deaf.

Students who have completed a semester of Sign Language may join the intermediate class.

Level I - Beginner
