Easter is just a hop, skip and a jump away! Here are some Easter activities for your family to enjoy this weekend.

Easter Egg Hunts

easter-4There are dozens of Easter Egg hunts happening throughout the city. From Brooklyn to Queens here are just a few of the many parks hosting hunts this weekend. For more information on possible locations, check your local newspaper for information on Easter egg hunts taking place near you.

Easter Jokes

If you have a bunch of comedians living under one roof, turn your house into a comedy club and crack some Easter themed jokes. Here’s a good site for Easter jokes you could use: http://jokes4us.com/holidayjokes/easterjokes/easteronelinersjokes.html

Easter Arts & Crafts

Want to give your house that Easter look and feel? Some arts and crafts should do the trick. Print out worksheets for your children to color. Have them make Easter baskets to fill with all of your Easter goodies. Better yet, Easter bonnets are great items to make. Decorate the house and make it festive in time for Easter!  Easter-Bunny-From-Eggs

Easter TV Specials

Around Easter weekend, Easter specials air on TV. Make a point to gather the family around the TV. Many of you may remember these long forgotten Easter specials as you were growing up, Yogi, The Easter Bear, Here Comes Peter Cottontail, and The Smurfs Springtime Special.

Easter presents a perfect opportunity to bring the family together and watch everyone have a good time. We hope you have a happy and great Easter!
