EMT Training Program
Join the growing and in-demand emergency responder profession by becoming an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). You will learn the fundamental skills to assess a patient’s condition, apply the proper procedure for emergency care, and, when necessary, transport the patient to a medical facility. Learn these life-saving techniques and join the dedicated personnel on the frontlines to keep New Yorkers safe.
Our course is offered in collaboration with New York State Course Sponsor Rescue Training International. The course will prepare candidates to become NYS Department of Health Emergency Medical Technicians.
Prerequisites: Must be 17 years or older. The EMT program is a NY State certification.
Course Format
- Lectures are conducted virtually via Zoom with instructors and peers
- Skills Sessions are conducted in person at Wagner College

Tuition includes EMT Course Text Book, CPR Course and Text Book, EAT-Student Uniform Shirt, and an EMT Equipment Package which includes: Adult Blood Pressure Cuff, Stethoscope, Penlight, Pocket Face Mask, Oxygen Key and EMT Shears.
