In this class we will cover key terms, theories/concepts and practices within the field of HR. Students will develop specific and useful knowledge, skills and techniques to effectively manage and plan key HR functions within a modern organization. Topics will include COVID’s impact on mental health, HR technology, hybrid and remote workers, pay structures and more. With this newfound knowledge, you will be equipped to provide innovative solutions to challenging issues and concerns facing your organization and its employees.

Ellen has been in HR for over 15 years in various industries and has experience with start-ups. She is skilled in Labor Relations and Unions, Employee Engagement, Learning and Development, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Diversity & Inclusion and Talent Acquisition.
