Yoga Under the Stars
Step into a dreamlike evening of deep rest and inner stillness inside the Wagner College Planetarium. Surrounded by a slow-moving panorama of stars, constellations, and glowing nebulas, this special Gentle Yoga and Yoga Nidra experience invites you to soften, release, and drift into profound relaxation beneath the cosmos.
You’ll be guided through slow, accessible movements designed to ease stiffness, support joint health, and calm the nervous system, preparing both body and mind for deep rest.
As the practice transitions into Yoga Nidra—often called “yogic sleep”—you’ll be guided into a deeply restorative, meditative state between waking and dreaming. The planetarium’s celestial visuals become a symbolic landscape for letting go, reflecting, and planting intentions.
No prior yoga experience is necessary. This class is open to anyone seeking rest, renewal, and a moment of cosmic perspective. Come exactly as you are, wrap yourself in starlight, and leave feeling grounded, spacious, and deeply restored.
