Checklist for New Students

Step One:
- Complete the confirmation of enrollment form. The enrollment deposit is $600 for residential students and $300 for commuters. All students entering in the Spring 2021 semester must submit their enrollment deposit before the start of classes (Feb. 8th). Then celebrate; it’s official!
Step Two:
- Create your All-Access Pass. This account gives you access to Wagner email and myWagner, where you will receive important updates. Please note activation may take up to 24 hours after submitting your enrollment deposit.
Step Three:
- Complete the New Student Form.

Register for classes. After submitting the New Student Form and deposit, you can contact Dr. Matt Kubacki, Dean for Academic and Career Engagement, to register for classes. He can be reached at matthew.kubacki@wagner.edu or 718-420-4324. Working with an academic advisor is required to register for classes.
Step Four:
- Please submit official AP or IB scores to our Registrar Office and all College Credit transcripts to our Admissions Office. Review our transfer credit policies under our FAQ’s.
- Submit your official final high school transcript.
Step Five: Medical Information
- Wagner College Cares about the health and safety of all our students. Our policy includes that before entering campus, all students are to have a completed:
- Health Record with Immunizations
- Flu Vaccine
- COVID-19 negative test result within 10 days of entering campus.

February 8th: Enroll/Waive Health Insurance (historically, this is a firm deadline)
- Enroll or waive Medical Insurance by Feb. 8th
- We require all full time undergraduate and graduate students to have insurance equal to what we offer according to the guidelines set forth by the Affordable Care Act
- All forms and questions can be sent to: studenthealthservice@wagner.edu
- Forms can also be mailed to: Wagner College, Center for Health and Wellness, One Campus Road, Staten Island, NY 10301.
Step Six:
- Check myWagner for your housing and course assignments. Use your all-access pass to log in. Watch the myWagner student tutorial if you need help.
- You will not be able to view your housing assignment or course schedule if your Medical Information Form has not been submitted.
Step Seven: Orientation
- Complete mandatory orientation online requirements:
- AlcoholEDU and Sexual Assault Prevention
- New Student Orientation Schedule
Step Eight:
- February 3-7: Move in details will be announced soon!
- February 15: First day of classes!

Receive Preliminary Transfer Credit Evaluation
- All admitted transfer students should receive a Preliminary Transfer Credit Evaluation in your admissions packet as long as an official college transcript was submitted in your application. The Preliminary Transfer Credit evaluation is preliminary and may change if additional coursework is completed and/or once you declare a major. You are responsible for submitting updated official transcripts once final grades are posted at the end of the current semester.

Second Degree Nursing Orientation
Second Degree Nursing orientation will be held in August. More details will follow via email.
New Student Form
Graduate students and adult learners (even if you have an undergrad degree from Wagner) must complete the Graduate and Second Degree New Student Form which will be available after May 1.
Wagner email and myWagner
After you create your all-access pass, you can access your Wagner email account and myWagner, our online portal to register for courses, view your current course schedule, obtain grade history, and more.
Medical Information Form
All students are required to have a Medical Information Form completed by a physician before arriving on campus. Students who do not have a Medical Information Form on file with Wagner College will be restricted from attending class or moving into the residence halls. Print the Graduate Student/Adult Learner Medical Information Form.
Housing
Graduate students and Adult Learners who are interested in living on campus, should contact the Office of Residential Education at resed@wagner.edu or (718) 390-3420 to discuss the housing application process, move-in, and availability of residential space.
