    As we approach winter break, please be aware of important updates to campus services and hours of operation. Services such as dining, transportation, and fitness facilities will have adjusted schedules during the break.

    Here's what’s open and closed for the 2024-25 holidays:

    Student Move-Out

    All students are expected to vacate their room 24 hours after their last final exam or by noon Thursday, Dec. 12 (whichever comes first). Students returning for the spring term need to take only essentials with them for break (e.g., clothes, medications, identifications, etc.); they do not need to fully move out.


    Public Safety:

    Call (718) 390-3148, 24 hours a day.

    In case of an emergency, dial 911.

    If you are leaving a car on campus during the winter recess, you must move it to Upper Tiers and park as close to the campus side as possible.


    Ferry Shuttle

    The following service changes will begin on Thursday, Dec. 12:

    Monday to Friday Service

    • Campus departures at 40 minutes past the hour
    • George Ferry Terminal departures at 10 minutes past the hour
    • The first shuttle will depart campus at 6:40 a.m.
    • The last shuttle will depart the St. George Ferry Terminal at 6:10 p.m.

    Saturday and Sunday: No weekend service

    No Holiday Service

    • Christmas Eve, Dec. 24
    • Christmas Day, Dec. 25
    • New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31
    • New Year’s Day, Jan. 1

    We will resume regular ferry shuttle service on Thursday, Jan. 16. Reach out to transportation@wagner.edu or Public Safety at (718) 390-3148 with any questions.


    Administrative Offices

    All Administrative offices are closed from Tuesday, Dec. 24 until Thursday, Jan. 2.


    Dining Services

    Main Dining Hall

    Closes on Wednesday, Dec. 11

    Reopens on Thursday, Jan. 2

    Monday – Friday

    • Breakfast 8 to 10 a.m.
    • Lunch 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
    • Dinner 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

    Saturday and Sunday

    • Brunch 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
    • Dinner 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

    Regular hours of operation resume on Saturday, Jan. 18

    Hawks Nest:

    Thursday, Dec. 12 to Monday, Dec. 23

    Limited Hours:

    • Opens 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Starbucks, Grill and Retail, Beverages and Snack

    Reopens Saturday, Jan. 18, with regular hours of operation.


    Horrmann Library

    Closed Dec. 18 through Jan. 1

    Closed on weekends

    Reopens Jan. 2

    Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.


    Health & Wellness Center

    Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    Closed Dec. 24 to Jan. 2

    No hours on the weekend


    I.T. Help Desk

    The Help Desk will be closed Dec. 24 to Jan. 1

    Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday starting Jan. 2

    Spiro Sports Fitness Center

    Regular hours through Dec. 15, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

    Reduced hours Dec. 16 to 20, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    Closed Dec. 21 to Jan. 5.

    Reduced hours Jan 6 to Jan. 19, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    Closed Jan. 20.

    Regular hours resume Jan. 21
