The 133rd Commencement of Wagner College will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. on the Sutter Oval.

Commencement Speakers
This year's keynote speaker will be Freeman A. Hrabowski III, who has served as president of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, since 1992. Hrabowski is a highly respected leader in American higher education as well as science and math education, with special emphasis on minority participation and performance.

Also being recognized at this year's commencement with an honorary doctorate will be L. Lee Knefelkamp, professor emerita of psychology and education in the program of social organizational psychology at Teachers College of Columbia University, where she has also chaired the Department of Adult and Higher Education.

Seating and Online Viewing
The ceremony is held in a tent on the Sutter Oval, so no tickets are necessary and everyone is invited to attend. There is general seating for everyone in the chairs on either side of the chairs for the graduates. They are first-come, first-served, except where reserved.

Line-up Information
Bachelor’s, master's and doctoral candidates must line up no later than 8:45 a.m. inside Spiro Sports Center. Find your place before graduation online.

The faculty procession will form on the first floor hallway of the Spiro Sports Center. The faculty will robe in the aerobics studio. The faculty should arrive at the Spiro Sports Center no later 9 a.m.
