About the Topic
In this forum, we will begin with a brief video of San Jerónimo Xayacatlán, Mexico, that visually documents the landscapes and people who are the subjects of our book. From there we will describe how our book focuses on transnational families that live in two places: San Jerónimo Xayacatlán, and Port Richmond, and how we are utilizing stories of transnational lives to explore the meaning of philosophical concepts such as care and resilience.
