The Physician Assistant Program is hosting an event open to the campus that will focus on advancing Intercultural Competency in the medical field. Organizations dedicated to intercultural development on campus will host tables focused on a medical issue of their choice which coincides with their clubs mission.
As students wondering through the festival, they will go to each table with their "passport" and receive a stamp upon completion of their activity! More than four stamps validates the passport as proof of attending an intercultural seminar, incentivizing student participation. Further, each station will supply food of their culture as well as collect tickets for a raffle basket associated with their culture!
The PA Program hopes that this event will not only elevate the cultural competency for their medical programs but also to advance the general student bodies expanse of intercultural knowledge. In these times of increasing intercultural issues, it is our duty to bridge cultural gaps, hopefully making the world a better place!
