The Wagner women's lacrosse team, champions of the NEC for the second time in the last three years, will host the Southern Conference champion Mercer University Bears at Hameline Field on Wednesday, May 9 at 1:00 p.m.
The matchup between the 13-5 Seahawks and the 9-10 Bears is an NCAA Opening-Round game with the winner set to travel to Towson University for a matchup with the Tigers, who lost to No. 5 James Madison, 16-10, in the Colonial Athletic Association's championship game.
This marks Wagner's second NCAA bid in the last three seasons, having claimed the program's first league title in 2016.
