SJD luncheon: Discussing ‘5 Broken Cameras’
On Wednesday, April 23 from 12 to 1 p.m. in Union 203, join the Center for Leadership and Engagement for a discussion of the Oscar-nominated documentary film, “5 Broken Cameras,” which was screened earlier in the week. The film presents “an extended, highly personal view of life in a West Bank village adjacent to Israel’s controversial security fence,” according to the New York Times review by A.O. Scott. Guitar Ensemble concert
On Wednesday, April 23 from 8 to 9 p.m. in the Campus Hall Performance Center, please join the Wagner College Guitar Ensemble under the direction of Ben Sher for a concert program that will include compositions by J.S. Bach, Mozart, Mussorgsky, traditional Cuban and Celtic folk music, plus swing and samba. Guitarists will include Will Pegg, Landon Akiyama, Stephanie DeFilippi, Michael Kirby McGann, Stephen Williamson and Cameron Alexander.
