Spamalot

February 27, 2015 @ 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Main Hall THEATRE, Staten Island, 10301

“Monty Python’s Spamalot,” the madcap Tony Award-winning musical, makes its Staten Island premiere at Wagner College Theatre from Feb. 18-21 and Feb. 25 through March 1. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, with 2 p.m. weekend matinees on Feb. 21, Feb. 28 and March 1.

Directed by WCT professor Mickey Tennenbaum and choreographed by Michael Warrell (making his WCT debut), with music direction by WCT Music Director Lauri Young, “Monty Python’s Spamalot” is an outrageous musical comedy lovingly ripped off from the 1975 film classic, “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.” Featuring music and lyrics by the Grammy Award-winning team of Eric Idle and John Du Prez and book by Eric Idle, “Spamalot” tells the story of King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table as they embark on a madcap quest for the Holy Grail.
