Dinner with Friends: ‘What Have You Overcome?’
The final Dinner with Friends program for the semester, hosted by Exceeding the Expectation, will feature guest speaker Carolyn Clark asking, “What Have You Overcome?” Clark, a Staten Island Advance Woman of Achievement, teaches music to students with special needs at the Richard H. Hungerford School and Eden II while dealing with her own disabilities. She has been using a wheelchair for almost 20 years and refuses to let that stop her. In addition to the guest speaker, Wagner students will tell their stories of overcoming disabilities. Pizza and snacks will be served, so RSVP by email to dassante@wagner.edu to make sure there’s enough for everyone!
