Film Series: Immigration in Italy

This afternoon at 2:30 in the Reynolds House Coffeehouse, please join Prof. Giuseppe Sorrentino and his students in celebrating Italian-American Heritage with “La Nuova Italia,” a film series on immigration and Italy. With an immigration crisis still underway in Europe, this retrospective aims to open a conversation on immigration, using the Italian case as an example of both conflict and integration. Today's final film screening will be “L’Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio” on Nov. 10.

The Wagner College History Department is serving as a co-sponsor for the Museum of the City of New York's MyCity Book Club Event titled "City On a Grid: How New York Became New York".

Join author Gerard Koeppel for a conversation about the the fascinating history of NYC's signature street grid. Architectural historian Hilary Ballon will also be speaking.
