Alumni & Friends Dinner: Boston MA
Join Wagner alumni and friends in the Boston area to commemorate the Wagner Seahawk's historic matchup against the Eagles of Boston College.
Beginning on Friday evening, Seahawk supporters will have the opportunity to connect with other alumni and friends for dinner at The Biltmore Bar & Grille in Newtown, just minutes from the team hotel. A former speakeasy, The Biltmore has a rich history of offering up delicious eats to patrons and Wagner alumni and friends will be treated to some of their best selections.
Longtime athletic director, Walt Hameline, and second-year football coach Jason Houghtaling will join guests for dessert and provide a scouting report for Saturday's big game.
Peer Educator Event: Sex Bingo
The program is about practicing safe sex to prevent the spread of STI’s and HIV. It will be interactive with participants playing bingo. The prize will be different types of Trojan condoms. During the event we will be stating facts about the spread of STI’s and HIV, where participants can get tested, and treatment options.
Pizza will be provided!
Participants must RSVP by the 17th, program is on the 23rd.
This program is also to help promote CSP's production of The Normal Heart, about how a young gay man's continuous efforts to spread AIDS awareness. CSP's production of The Normal Hear opens on September 24th.
DASA Workshop
Wagner College is offering the State-required anti-bullying workshop as a service to educators in and around Staten Island.
The course consists of an online pre-workshop video and resource exploration experience of 1 hour and a 6-hour face-to-face workshop requiring completion of a reflective essay and sample lessons about how the training might influence your instructional practices.
The next face-to-face workshop will be scheduled for Friday, September 23rd.
Pre-registration is required and is available at wagner.edu/education. Workshop fees are $50 for Wagner alumni and $100 for all others. Fees are payable by check or money order at the workshop event.
After pre-registering, you will receive access to the password-protected site containing online resources required prior to the DASA training.
