Vocal Jazz Set
Stretto vocal ensemble, some of Wagner’s best singers and a fine band will perform a set of varied tunes, including a new original, standards by Billy Strayhorn, Sonny Rollins and Harry Warren, new material by Tom Misch and Alexa Hurley, Gretchen Parlato, Sara Gazarek, funk, TAKE 6, blues, and some very tight close harmony.
The amazing Wagner alum, Dorian Lake, will be on hand along with a really great little band with Kris Kaiser, guitar, Barbara Lee, piano, Kazuo Nakamura, bass and David Clive, drums. Our soloists include Emma MacDonald, Shanon Harris, Ariel Ubaldegaray and Shawn Tellekamp.
