Majors Fair

MAJORS FAIR - Hosted by CACE and in collaboration with all faculty and academic departments, this event is set at a time when students are deciding on a major and preparing for upcoming advisement and registration. This can help gather all the information they need from faculty and current majors to be able to make your decision wisely.

Student Alumni Association Meeting

The Student Alumni Association (SAA) will have bi-weekly meetings to discuss the planning and organizing of events for the fall and spring semester. The purpose of the SAA is to build spirit and pride, connect current students with alumni, educate about and encourage student philanthropy, and enhance the student experience by providing ways to strengthen service and lifelong loyalty to Wagner. Students interested in attending meetings will go through regular cafeteria line and meet at tables reserved for SAA in the FDR.

In Depth Look at Women Incarcerated

Guest Speaker: Romy Titus
She advocates for children's rights through her organization "Babies Behind Bars' which earned her a spot in the Mandela Washington Fellowship initiated by President Barack Obama, a Community Leader Award from Elizabeth Arden, and recognition by Independent Newspapers as one of 100 Young Leaders. In addition, she is an Ubuntu Award recipient and a Paul Harris Fellowship Award winner from the Rotary of South Africa.
Romy is a qualified doula who works behind bars with expectant mothers.

LGBTQ+ Professional Panel

Join the Iris Alliance for a panel discussion on living authentically in a professional environment and doing what you love. The Iris Alliance is a student-run organization designed to nurture the development of an inclusive, welcoming community at Wagner College concerning matters in the LGBTQIA+ community. The panel will be moderated by Iris Alliance president Dan Smith ’19, who works in HIV/AIDS outreach with the Gay Men’s Health Crisis. The panel will include: Tommy Tressler-Gelok, director of residential education and retention specialist at Wagner College; Kevin Tressler-Gelok, vice president and account director at MSL Group; Wagner grad Pat Zappone ’18, development associate for Papermill Playhouse; Collins Bennett Hilton, operations and projects consultant with the New York City Department of Education; Cyril Ghosh, associate professor and chair of the Government & Politics Department at Wagner College; Lisa Sloan, deputy director of the Pride Center of Staten Island; and Mike Dolzer, media analyst for the Nielsen Company. Event cosponsored by Wagner College's Center for Intercultural Advancement.
