Health resources for students
SW292, Introduction to Social Policy, is hosting an informational Zoom meet about health resources available to students, both on and off campus. The meeting will also look at the pros and cons of private vs. universal healthcare. Wagner College Health & Wellness Dean Kathleen Oberfeldt will be joining us to elaborate on the health resources available to the Wagner student body.

Being an LGBTQ+ Person of Color
Being LGBTQ+ can already come with its struggles, but being a person of color can add further complexities.
This virtual panel discussion will focus on the experiences of LGBTQ+ people of color, their coming out process, acceptance in the LGBTQ+ community, and how they operate in the world. The goal of this panel discussion is to create a safe space through which we can explore topics of identity and bring together LGBTQ+ POC and their allies on our campuses.
This conversation is brought to you by the Wagner College Center for Intercultural Advancement, the College of Staten Island LGBTQ Resource Center, and Pride Center of Staten Island.

Employee town hall: Winter Session
Wagner College faculty and staff members are invited to participate in a town hall-style online meeting about the Winter Session, which runs from Dec. 14 through Jan. 13 (with a break from Dec. 24 through Jan. 3). The meeting is scheduled for this Thursday, Oct. 29 at 4 p.m. Please register for the meeting using this link. You will be sent login information once you register. If you have questions about the Winter Session you’d like to submit in advance, you may use this link. We will also be taking questions during the town hall itself.
