Sexual Predators: Why They’re so Hard to Lock Up, and What We Can Do About It

Join speaker Joyce Short for her lecture on sexual predators. Short is a sexual assault survivor and the author of three books, including “Your Consent: The Key to Conquering Sexual Assault,” which has inspired legislative bills in several states. Short is the founder of the Consent Awareness Network, which works with legislators to create consent-based laws across the U.S. and around the world. Honored as a woman of distinction by the New York State Assembly, she has been featured in news stories on “Nightline,” Buzzfeed, “Inside Edition” and the New York Times.
