Ukraine conversation: Filmmaker Iryna Zhygaliuk
Join us for a Zoom conversation with Iryna Zhygaliuk, a TV writer/producer and documentary filmmaker from Ukraine, who will share her personal experiences and insights on the crises in Ukraine.
In 2016, Zhygaliuk graduated from Ohio University School of Film.
The day after war broke out this February, Zhygaliuk left Kyiv with her dog. She is currently a refugee in the Czech Republic.
Zhygaliuk’s short film, "Mother" (2015, 13 min.), is set in Ukraine under the Nazi occupation during WWII. Watch "Mother" on Vimeo.
