Black History Month Read Aloud
Students, staff and faculty are invited to sign up and read aloud their favorite writings by an African American author.

Computer Proficiency Exam
Students who wish to test-out of taking CS106 can register for the Computer Proficiency Exam. The exam will cover basics in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Powerpoint.
Students who pass the exam will meet the general education requirement of CS 106 but will not count toward a unit or gpa.

Mental Health First Aid Training
In partnership with Thrive NYC, Wagner offers all members of our campus community the opportunity to participate in this free program!
After completing the training, all individuals will receive a certificate that can be used as proof of participation in the course.
Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour program designed to train individuals in the skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.
Mental Health First Aiders learn a 5-step strategy that includes assessing risk, respectfully listening to and supporting the individual in crisis, and identifying appropriate professional help and other supports. Participants are also introduced to risk factors and warning signs for mental health or substance use problems, engage in experiential activities that build understanding of the impact of illness on individuals and families, and learn about evidence-supported treatment and self-help strategies.
