On Monday, April 28, 2014, former New York Gov. George Pataki was the featured speaker at this year’s Presidential Economic Symposium at Wagner College. Pataki, the 53rd governor of New York, served from 1995 through 2006. He opened his wide-ranging talk with a warning that the politicians who win their party's nominations today tend to be the "most partisan, most ideological and self-centered."
