Under the "Designation" dropdown menu, select "Seahawk Mascot Costume."
I’m speaking to you today about a subject that is very dear to me: the Seahawk!
It first became the Wagner College mascot in 1947. Since then, there have been many different versions of the Seahawk costume.
The first costume was all black, and it looked more like a raven than a seahawk.
Other costumes were made in the classic Seahawk Green color, though some had different shapes and sizes to the feet, head and feathers.
The current costume is over 20 years old. It has proudly represented Wagner for many years at many events and many activities — but it’s time for an upgrade.
I am asking you, Seahawk Nation, to join me in donating $5 to purchase a new Seahawk costume. When this video ends, scroll down to the link where you can make your donation today. Be sure to click on the dropdown menu for the Seahawk costume. With your help, we can have a new costume ready for the fall semester.
So I ask again that you join me, Lee Manchester, and donate today.
