Wagner College leaders are excited to announce Wagner Weekly, the new campus-wide newsletter. Wagner Weekly replaces the Daily Bulletin email, and will be sent to all current students, staff, and faculty every Monday morning, or Tuesdays if Monday is a holiday.

Wagner Weekly will feature campus news and feature stories such as important announcements and deadlines, construction updates, fun events, and much more. It consists of three primary sections: a feature story, announcements, and featured events. Presidential messages and other special content may also be included.

The Office of Communications and Marketing will be responsible for managing Wagner Weekly content and distribution. Please fill out this form, either typing out your content in the form or attaching a Word document and a photo to have your content considered. Wagner Communications reserves the right to edit submissions for length, Associated Press style guidelines, etc. Content should be submitted no later than 12 p.m. on the Wednesday before you would like your content included.

See the FAQ below for more details on getting your content featured. For other questions or concerns about Wagner Weekly, please reach out to communications@wagner.edu.

How do I get a story from my department featured in Wagner Weekly?

Editorial decisions on which story leads each Wagner Weekly newsletter is ultimately up to the discretion of Wagner Communications. Submissions of feature stories should be written in AP style and be no more than 500 words. Wagner Communications will facilitate posting the story to the Wagner Newsroom and linking to it from Wagner Weekly. Submissions should also include:

    • A title
    • A 1-2 sentence abstract
    • A 16x9 photo or video
    • Any corresponding links needed

Please note that stories submitted as features may be included in the newsletter as an announcement instead.

    Submit feature stories here.

How do I get an announcement in Wagner Weekly?

Announcement submissions should be no more than 200 words, but ideally be less than 100. Wagner Communications will facilitate posting the announcement to the Wagner Newsroom and linking to it from Wagner Weekly. Submissions should include:

    • Typed out content that is no more than 200 words
    • A 1-2 sentence abstract
    • A photo or graphic that can be cropped with a 5:4 ratio
    • Any corresponding links needed

Please do not submit a flier as an announcement. Content should be typed out in the form or attached in a Word document.

    Submit announcements here.

How do I get my event featured in Wagner Weekly?

To get your event into Wagner Weekly, it must be listed in the online campus calendar. Campus partners cannot submit events for consideration in the newsletter. Events featured in Wagner Weekly will be selected from the campus calendar by Wagner Communications. Even if your event is not listed as a "Featured Event" in Wagner Weekly, there will always be a button leading readers to view "More Events" on the campus calendar.

Wagner community members can add events to the campus calendar using the existing Ad Astra scheduling system. Check out this tutorial or contact the campus events team at events@wagner.edu for guidance on scheduling events.
