Ahead of National Cyber Security Awareness Month in October, Wagner College’s Department for Lifelong Learning will launch three new cyber security programs powered by HackerUSA.
The demand for skilled professionals in the global cyber security workforce increases daily, but an outstanding shortage in talent remains. It has been reported by Harvard Business Review that by 2020, over 1.5 million positions will be left unfilled.
“By offering these programs, we hope to provide valuable educational opportunities to I.T. professionals as well as those seeking to enter the I.T. landscape, and assist in narrowing the industry’s talent gap,” says Sharon Guinta, director of Wagner College’s Department for Lifelong Learning. Course offerings include I.T. Expert Specializing in Python & Basic Cyber Security, Cyber Security Risk Management & Assessment, and Professional Penetration Tester.
On Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m. in Foundation Hall’s Manzulli Boardroom please join us for a panel discussion on our cyber security programs. Click here to RSVP.
HackerUSA is an extension of Hacker U, a cyber security education provider established in Israel, a country internationally recognized as having one of the most resilient cyber security industries in the world. HackerUSA instructors and experts have developed the curriculum covered in each course over the last 20 years based on experience, knowledge and responsibility.
