Wagner College Theater (WCT) has "magic to do" this season, starting with the whimsical and delightfully dark Broadway classic, "Pippin". Directed and choreographed by WCT professor and head of dance Rusty Curcio, "Pippin" will take audiences on a fanciful journey of magic, mayhem and a hero’s tale of self-discovery.
“As a young teenager, I remember seeing the commercial aired on TV, which was the first TV commercial for a Broadway show, and I was intrigued and fascinated by the advertisement," Curcio said. "Now I get to work on the show, and with every choice I make, I want to bring that same feeling of intrigue and fascination to every audience member who comes to see the show. 'Pippin' is one of the most uniquely structured and stylized works I have ever worked on and I know the final product will bring enjoyment and pleasure to the audience.”
Show dates:
October 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14 @ 8 PM
October 7, 14, 15 @ 2 PM
