    On Monday, April 2, 2012, students, faculty and administrators at Wagner College participated in a day-long vigil as they wore hoods and carried Skittles in protest of the shooting of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen gunned down in February by a Neighborhood Watch member. Staten Island Advance videographer Anthony DePrimo filed the following story:

    On Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2012, a story by New York 1's Aaron Dickens reported that hundreds of students at Wagner College wore hoodies Monday to spread awareness about the shooting death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin:
